Licensed Associate Professional Counselor
NATIONAL CERTIFIED COUNSELOR
I'm so glad you're here! I appreciate your investment of time to research therapy and different therapists. Whatever has brought you to this point in you or your child's journey, you do not have to be alone. I would be honored to join you in your story for this chapter of healing and growth.
My priority in counseling is to build trust with clients by creating an environment where it is safe to be authentic. By gaining awareness of ourselves and our past experiences, we can gain clarity on the present and how to move toward positive change. I consider it a privilege to link arms with clients in this process. With younger clients, I enjoy making therapy fun by using games or art activities that help to engage with emotions and express what may be difficult to put into words. With older clients, I provide a nonjudgmental space to process emotions surrounding difficult circumstances. By working together, I believe growth and healing is possible.
I hold a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. I provide individual counseling services for children, adolescents, and adults. My clinical experience includes working with clients facing anxiety, depression, difficult family or relationship dynamics, mood disorders, life transitions and change, self-esteem and self-doubt struggles, and attention-related difficulties. My approach focuses on meeting each client where they are and holding space to process the unique challenges he or she is navigating. I enjoy pulling from different treatment modalities to create a therapeutic environment tailored to the individual.
I am under the supervision and direction of Christi Bartolomucci, Ph.D., LPC, CPCS and Erin Holcomb, LPC, CPCS, NCC.
